Completed 6 years ahead of schedule on November 7, 1885, when the last spike was driven at Craigellachie, British Columbia. Briefly known as CP Rail from 1968-1996, Canadian Pacific Railway is an historic Canadian Class I railway headquartered in Calgary, Alberta.
